I originally had an old, ancient, worn out, LG Revere flip phone and FINALLY decided to take the plunge into the world of smartphones. The clerks over at Verizon talked to me about various phones and we agreed that the best phone for me (being a complete "newbie" to smartphones) was the LG Lucid 3. It is amazing and has loads of features for being a what is referred to as a "beginner smartphone".
The best feature out of them all, is the "Easy Home" screen that resembles a telephone number key pad on an old school flip phone, but yet has other small icons around it, such as Apps, Email, Settings, etc... It easily allows you to make the transition from flip phone to smartphone without worry.
So far, I have had no problems or issues with the LG Lucid 3. It is a great phone for the money and is a step up from the LG Enact (which has a slide out QWERTY keyboard).
